Home T.E.A.M. Alliance is a not-for-profit, educationally based program providing quality before- and after-school care for children in first grade through twelve years of age.

Our Mission:

T stands for TIME.

• We understand how difficult it can be for working parents to find quality time to spend with their children. Evenings are often stressful, filled with meals, homework and extra-curricular activities, leaving little room for quality family time.

• Home T.E.A.M. helps to take pressure off of family time by assisting children to complete homework before they come home.

• We create opportunities for families to connect through fun family events and by providing resources for at-home family-strengthening activities.

E stands for EDUCATIONAL support.

• Home T.E.A.M. works in cooperation with home and school to support your child’s education. Our qualified teachers provide after-school homework help and optional tutoring.

• Home T.E.A.M. supplies access to a full computer lab with printers for homework assignments and projects, reading and writing clubs, and educational field trips.

A stands for ATMOSPHERE.

• Home T.E.A.M. recognizes that a loving atmosphere is important for the emotional health of children. Therefore we hire staff with the character and ability to inspire, encourage and nurture children.

• We express high expectations and model mutual respect and kindness, encouraging children to reach their full potential.

• We provide adult supervised playtime with age-appropriate activities, snacks, and fun, structured games.

• We use gentle but firm correction when necessary.

M stands for MORAL character.

• Home T.E.A.M. provides opportunities for children to build moral character by practicing character skills in a safe environment.

• Older children have the opportunity to participate in leadership clubs where they learn to encourage and assist younger children under the mentorship of the staff.

• Home T.E.A.M. provides training in life skills from a Christian perspective in areas such as money management, conflict resolution, character lessons, household skills, and communication.
